Just like music, wine is an essential part of Viennese culture. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven resided in the historic house of Mayer am Pfarrplatz. During his stay in Vienna, he worked on the famous Symphony N° 9.
To honour the great composer, the winery Mayer am Pfarrplatz created a special wine – just as lively and spicy as the famous symphony and a real pleasure to drink.
Delicate stone fruit aromas being typical for Austrian Riesling compared with the unique smoky Nussberg-aroma almost reminding of cinnamon and orange zest- contribute to the originality of this wine.
