Just like music, wine is an essential part of Viennese culture. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven resided in the historic house of Mayer am Pfarrplatz. During his stay in Vienna, he worked on the famous Symphony N° 9.
To honour the great composer, the winery Mayer am Pfarrplatz created a special wine – just as lively and spicy as the famous symphony and a real pleasure to drink.

Using the traditional champagne method, vintage Sekt is matured for at least 24 months on yeast lees. This gives rise to delicate biscuit notes on the nose.
