Just like music, wine is an essential part of Viennese culture. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven resided in the historic house of Mayer am Pfarrplatz. During his stay in Vienna, he worked on the famous Symphony N° 9.
To honour the great composer, the winery Mayer am Pfarrplatz created a special wine – just as lively and spicy as the famous symphony and a real pleasure to drink.
Concentrated apricot and tropical fruit aromas with orange zest undertones. Very delicate and chiselled on the palate. Very smooth with a mineral character and with a fresh acidity curve on the finish. Blossom honey and apricot jam on the finish.
